Chris Sorman joins Burton European Team
Burton is proud to announce that Chris Sörman
is the latest addition to the Burton European Team.
Chris, 21 years old, born and still living in Jokoping,
Sweden, is no unknown to the European snowboarding
scene. Chris counts the victory at the Slopestyle
Contest at the BEO 2004 as well as his part in this
year’s Pirate Movie "Lubedence"
to his biggest achievements so far. After finishing
the Snowboard school in Salen he has been travelling
the world as a pro-rider for over 3 years.
This is what Chris has to say about his move to
Burton: "I'm super stoked to be on the Burton
Team. I always thought I would be on the team sooner
or later, now I am!" He can't wait to shred
with his team-mates and is looking forward to a
season with filming, contests and all the adventures
that come along.
Martin "Hasi" Haslwanter, Burton European
Team Manager, adds the following: "I am very
happy that Chris decided to ride for Burton. He
is one of those riders who I have always thought
would fit in our team. He has style and is a well-rounded
rider who can impress in all areas of snowboarding.
Another big bonus for him is that the whole European
team is backing him 100% and is stoked that he rides
in the same team now."
