Travis Rice wins Air & Style 2006
In what is being hailed as the best Air & Style contest to date, Travis Rice from the USA took home a stash of cash and a gleaming new BMW motobike in exchange for a super stylish double backflip late 180 off the monster sized kicker. Sounds like a fair deal to us!?

Step-On photo press were among the 27,500 people inside the Olympic Stadium in Munich. The atmosphere was amazing and the contest itself was insane. A year ago it would be rare to see a double invert in any contest, but this weekend the riders were throwing them down almost every go like it was nothing. Having failed to land his first 2 tricks, Travis pulled it out of the bag and took home 1st place ahead of the crazy spinning Finns Risto Matilla and Antti Auti who both stuck 1260's.
