snowboarders
seem to spend more time in the air than most,
and i'm not just talking about the air above
the tabletop. airmiles is a new regular feature
here on step-on where each issue we interview
a different snowboarder about his or her recent
aviation experiences..
this issue: bjorn mortensen // age
22 // sponsors burton boards, analog clothing,
anon goggles, nixon watches, es footwear
how many airmiles have you clocked
in the past year?
not enough to get those gold or silver cards
everybody has
where were these to and from?
mostly from bergen, norway to innsbruck and
back to bergen again. a couple of times
are you a nervous flyer?
i used to prepear myself to die everytime
i stepped into an airplane, just thinking
if it would happen it wasn't too bad, cause
my life has been really good so far. i wasn't
really nervous but more concious about the
fact that the accident could happen...nowadays
i'm more afraid, and i dont wanna prepear
to die, i'm flying a lot less as well...
do you prefer an aisle or window seat?
both, like some space so i can move around
a little
are you a member of the "mile
high club"?
no
what's your favourite aviation film?
he he, top gun, not really, i don't know
when will you next be airbourne?
if i gets healthy, hopefully in a couple of
days
