While most kids spend the summer sweating away mowing lawns and washing dishes trying to save up some cash to get next years hot shit, I was hitting up 40 ft kickers with the likes of Robbie Sell, Nac Marben, Scott Stevens, Jonny Miller, and many other pros at this years High Cascade Snowboard Camp. Hcsc is located at Mt. Hood, Oregon. There are 6 sessions to choose from and each session is a week long and hosted by two pros, although there are many pros and ams that just show up to ride. Kids from all over the world assault government camp each year to ride the glacier and try to learn those tricky switch BS 9's. There is also a photo and video work camp held at the same time as the snowboard camp. You learn from the best in the business. Nick Hamilton, Tim Zimmerman, and Trevor Graves were teaching the photo camp this year and Mac Dawgs Brad Kramer was the mastermind behind the video camp. So this winter when you're working for gas money to get up to the hill, save a little so next summer you can ride along with your favorite pro instead of riding the bus to summer school.
