Matthias Koban, one of the few Swiss Pro wakeboarders, called me last week asking if we could car pool to Toulouse, to get to the European Boardstock. Sure enough we drove along the 900 Kilometers to arrive in the sunny south of France.

The Boardstock would only start on Wednesday and being only Monday we could not resist to go gap hunting. We easily found this one something like 50 K away from the cable park. We simply parked the car, got the Hive out and setup for a few runs. Oh yea, the water was pretty chilly but the light was just perfect and the sun was reflecting on these red bricks surrounding us. Matthias killed it….and we jetted without having one person asking what we where doing, good shots in the cameras and smiles on faces…….it feels damn good to be the first one to ride a spot…especially one so rad and incredible looking like this one.
