Once again the Swedish snowboard season kicked off at Sergelstorg, smack in the centre of Stockholm. 20 riders from Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Russia, US and Canada had gathered to battle at the FrontLine RailJam.
The rail setup was very similar to last years jam: a down flat down box and straight rail down a big set of steps. New for this year was a miniramp, that was rocking during the whole event with riders like Ricky Sandström, Casper Plass, Mika Edin, Joel Svärd, Mark Frank Montoya and many more.
With snowboarders like Joni Malmi, Hans Åhlund, Torsten Horgmo, Karem El Rafie, Eero Ettala, Mark Frank Montaya, and Eirikur Helgason in the line-up for the railjam, we got to see a lot of insane stuff during the day.

The riders got cash for all good tricks performed at the jam. Judges also awarded best trick of the day to two riders based on the two different rails.
Risto Ruokola nailed a switch backside tail spin 180 on the rail and 270 out and cashed an extra 500EUR for Best Trick on the rail.
The king of the kink box was Hans Åhlund. With a 50-50 backside 270 boardslide combo that made him 500 EUR richer.

The Rider of the Day award went to Iceland's own king Eirikur Helgason who delivered tricks with a style all day long, he did also get a nice bundle of cash to spend at the club.
Celebrations went on all night long down town, at the Old classic club Berns Salonger,
Where Mark Frank Montaya, Joni Malmi and Radio lo-cach took care of the entertainment.
